How to apply for student visa for China?

Once you receive your original Admission Letter and JW202/JW201 from your University in China, you need to apply for a Student Visa for China. This brings up a question in your mind: How to apply for the Chinese student visa (X1)?

We at Web Consultants have simplified the process for you, which is given below step wise:

1. Attestations of Documents

  • For students who have studied Matric and F. Sc

  1. You need to get your Matric and F. Sc transcripts and certificates attested by the respective boards you did your Matric and F. Sc from. It usually takes 4-5 hours to get this done. However, it is suggested to go early in the morning in order to get things done fast.

  2. Once the attestations are done, the board will put them into a sealed envelope and hand them over to you, which you need to take to the IBCC next. At the IBCC it usually takes 4-5 hours to get the attestation done. It is however again suggested to go early in the morning to the IBCC, in order to get the attestation done fast.

  3. After having the attestations done by both the boards and the IBCC, you now need to move on to the next step which is attestations of your Matric and F. Sc Transcripts and Certificates along with your Police Character Certificate (Non-Criminal Certificate) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan (MOFA).

  • For students who have studied O/A Levels

  1. After getting your certificates, you should head to the IBCC in order to get an Equivalency Certificate.

  2. After getting your Equivalency Certificate you have to head to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan (MOFA) in order to get your Equivalency Certificate along with your Police Character Certificate (Non-Criminal Certificate) attested.

2. Getting Appointment from Gerry's Visa to Apply for X1 Visa

The next step after completing all your documents is getting the appointment at Gerry's Visa Center. You need to go to their website in order to apply for an appointment. Once you get the appointment, you're all done and you now need to wait for the date of appointment.
